Scott Patterson – Personal Injury, DUI and Real Estate Attorney
Scott grew up in a small town in Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. He attended The College of William & Mary, graduating in 1993. After graduation, Scott moved to Atlanta and enrolled in law school in 1996. Scott was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 1999 after graduating near the top of his class from Mercer University’s Walter F. George College of Law. He started his career at King & Spalding’s Atlanta office before taking an in house counsel position with an international technology company.
Immediately before opening his own practice, Scott worked at Love, Willingham, Peters & Monyak (now Peters & Monyak) defending doctors accused of committing malpractice. Working at a smaller firm helped Scott realize that he wanted to pursue a more personal and client focused law practice leading him to open up his own practice, which he did with a partner in 2004 and eventually opened up a solo office in 2006, which ultimately became The Patterson Cozzo Law Firm, LLC.
Scott strives to give you the individual attention you and your case deserve. Whether he is fighting for you against insurance companies, at fault drivers and/or larger corporations who have caused you or a loved one harm or he is working to resolve your DUI and traffic ticket case in a favorable manner either through plea negotiations, motions or trial, he is always trying to let the opposing side know that you are human and not a set of facts and that you deserve individual consideration for your very individual and personal situation.
